The Na Lestnitse Cafe-Restaurant is situated between the Old and the New Arbat, close to Smolenskaya metro station. It was opened in 1999, and very soon it obtained reputation of one of the coziest places in the capital. In 2004 the owner of the venue was replaced, and the Cafe was restored. It still remains a very popular place among both young people and older guests. The interiors and decoration changed, but the atmosphere of coziness and unconstraint still remains the same.
The Cafe consists of three levels. The lowest level features the chill out zone. It is designed in eclecticism style and decorated with classic English ornament. Some objects of the level interior are hand-made.
Interiors of the middle level are designed in country style: comfortable sofas and chairs are perfect to drink a cup of coffee, smoke a cigarette or a cigar, and have a good rest. Thanks to ventilation system, the smoking guests do not disturb the non-smoking visitors. All the guests are welcome to use Internet for free.
The upper level of the Cafe is the largest one. Containing the bar and the VIP-zone, it is a very attractive place for those who like to listen to modern music, smoke hookah or cigars, and drink cocktails. In the evenings DJs play their music to the guests.
The menu of the Cafe features dishes of home and European cuisine, various kinds of coffee, bakery, and so forth. From 12:00 till 16:00 one can order home dinner at moderate price. Such a dinner consists of a soup, a salad, and a hot course. Cranberry juice and mineral water are included in the dinner for free. The Cafe offers a "meal to go" service.
